Our History

The former PsLing shop in Daikanyama 1993–2002

Origins and the PsLing name

  • Work began in international development consulting in the health and medical field.
  • Original baby slings began to be sold from a Nakano atelier.
  • Online sales began under the Bebe Sling name.
  • The brand adopted the name PsLing.
The former directly operated store in New York 2003–2008

Company formation and New York

  • Peace Ring Co., Ltd. was established, with an atelier in Sasazuka.
  • A shop opened in Daikanyama.
  • A New York company was established.
  • A directly operated store opened in SoHo, Manhattan.
  • The sister brand PSNY was launched.
  • The PSNY mam / baby line was introduced.
The Setagaya atelier 2008–Present

Expanding the craft

  • Dog slings joined the product range.
  • The Setagaya atelier opened.
  • A specialist mask shop opened on BASE.
  • The small PSNY miniature line began.

What We Do Today

  • Develop PsLing products in Japan, with product-specific production and availability confirmed before ordering
  • Provide guidance about choosing, wearing, caring for, and checking a sling through available online support
  • Consider remake enquiries that preserve the memories held in an older PsLing
  • Connect online information with individual support where language and location allow

Atelier service status: Classes and in-person product consultation at the Setagaya atelier are currently suspended. No appointment or visit should be promised through the English site.
