Story
Alongside the First Days
The first days bring both anticipation and uncertainty.
Little by little, parent and baby begin to discover what feels comfortable together.

First Hold
Learning to hold
your baby safely
Holding, settling and responding to cries can all feel new.
A ring sling also requires practice: begin slowly,
follow the instructions and ask for qualified help when needed.
- Support the head, neck and back for the baby’s age
- Keep the face visible and the airway clear
- Check the fit, breathing and temperature continuously
Day by Day
Becoming familiar,
day by day
Practice in a calm setting and build confidence gradually.
Use both hands until the baby is securely positioned,
and choose activities that are safe while babywearing.
- Start with short sessions when both of you are settled
- Avoid heat, cooking, bending hazards and vigorous activity
- Recheck the carry whenever the baby or fabric shifts
Growing Together
Finding a rhythm
together
Every baby and caregiver is different.
Pay attention to the baby’s cues, pause when something feels wrong,
and allow your routine to develop without rushing.
- Respond to signs of hunger, fatigue or discomfort
- Keep the baby close enough to check easily
- Seek medical advice for premature babies or health concerns
The first days do not have to be perfect.
You can find what feels right together,
one small step at a time.
